Recently, many of our valued partners have inquired about the status of Rytec Corporation’s continuing operations. Rytec has been identified as a “Critical Infrastructure” business. In these unprecedented times, we understand we all must work and communicate more closely and efficiently than ever. Together, we must continue to keep our employees safe, and also to excel in our critical responsibility of helping to maintain the food distribution and manufacturing infrastructure of the United States.
In response to travel restrictions placed on certain areas of the country, including those restricted as “Shelter in Place”, “Stay at Home” or “Safer at Home”, we want to provide you with documentation stating how Rytec continues to be a part of the Critical Business Supply Chain. Our dealer and end-customer partners are very important to Rytec Corporation. Consequently, since our Company is considered a Critical Manufacturer and employees of our Company are Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers, as such term is defined by CISA, we will continue to serve our partners.
This official document may be used to validate our company’s important relationship with our partners; our company is identified as being in the “Critical Infrastructure Segment” under Presidential Policy Directive 21 and Department of Homeland Security emergency readiness programs implementing the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001. 42 U.S.C. § 5195c(e).
Again, in these unprecedented and challenging times, we value our partners more than ever. Our hope is that all of your employees and their families are safe, protected and able to maintain that safety throughout this event.
Rytec Corporation is committed to taking all appropriate actions to protect employees and their families, customers and visitors against the spread of COVID-19. We are closely monitoring the situation as it evolves and are taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization, regulators and local public health departments.
