Rytec Doors LEED the way

Extreme energy conservation, environmental controls and substantial daylight transmission are changing the world. Rytec doors enable it and independent, third-party verification can prove it.

Rytec is pleased to be an official member of the U.S. Green Building Council. The Green Council is committed to promoting better designed buildings that are not only more environmentally and socially responsible, but also help improve the quality of life for those who occupy them and the communities in which they are built.

The council has developed a benchmarking system known as LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design). It has several categories used in evaluating the effectiveness of specific projects via a points system. LEED Gold certification provides that a building project meets the highest green building and performance measures. In addition to garnering points toward certification, Rytec doors help business owners save green (money) via energy savings. In addition to direct savings, many LEED buildings qualify for tax rebates, zoning allowances and other incentives.
